Never Sleep is an inspiration to A Nightmare on Elm St a horror classic made by iconic horror director Wes Craven that was released in 1984. The premise of the movie is about a supernatural killer named Freddy Krueger that haunts people in their dreams who have a connection with him. Killing them while in their dreams. If they die in their dreams they die in real life. Never Sleep is an inspired reference to the neccesary way to survive against Freddy is to not fall asleep. The design of the shirt captures the tension of what would happen if you fall asleep and Freddy is within your dreams. Plus the tension of trying to stay awake when sleep is a neccesary part for us to function as people. This is a shirt for old school horror fans out there.
